Conf call

I have an elementary question; it may sound silly but please help.

(I am from storage background so don't know much about telecom)

What is the advantage of conference code no from a service provider

over traditional telephone, which has conferencing facility?

When I say advantage, I mean performance only.

(I know first one is more secure and you could ask for

The transcript after call)



I have this problem too.

Hi Subhankar,

Performance wise, the Internal CCM Solution matches up quite nicely. And of course with the addition of Meetingplace or MPX the two issues you mentioned can be overcome as well :)

The one thing to deal with for large Conferences is the need for additional Trunking to accomodate large Incoming call volumes.
