We have a particular VIP functioning for a Cognos product that the users are stating they are losing communication with the vip at random times during peak usage. We have been unable to find anything in the DoS statistics, ethernet stats, logs or server logs that indicates the cause of the problem or even that there are issues during the specified outages. We have not had the ability to run a sniffer trace at this time due to some logical issues but we have seen this same issue before and I thought maybe I could share our issue here as someone may have seen the same problem. Attached is the configuration (simplified to the rules involved)
