Hi,
I'm very intersted about getting EOL/EOS and part number information from MIB OID's.
The required info is:
1) Whether the device is in EOL/EOS status.
2) Is there any notice in any OID in every Cisco device regarding part number (for example WS-C4510R for Catalyst 4500 with 7 slots)?
3) Is ther any notice in any OID in Cisco's devices for replacment parts (part that come instead EOL part).
Thanks in advaced.

These details are not available from SNMP alone. CiscoWorks Resource Manager Essentials now has the ability to provide EOS/EOL information because it feeds into the product database on Cisco.com, and feeds in the serial numbers of chassis and modules. You would need to extract the same serial numbers from your devices (this is done differently depending on device and software version), then go to Cisco.com, and search through the product bulletins for EOS/EOL announcements.

Joe...I assume this ability for RME is available via LMS 3.x and not LMS 2.6. If not LMS 2.6, any chance of retrofit ?
Thanks

Correct, EOL/EOS reports are part of RME 4.1 which os part of LMS 3.0. There will be no back port to LMS 2.6.
