Move custom phone service from CM4.2(3) to UC 6

I have a custom phone service (just an xml file that displays the company information) that ran fine on my old version of CM 4. I have upgraded to 6 (with new hardware) and I cannot find any documentation on where or how to move the xml file to the new server.

Hi,

I'm running CUCM 6.0.1 Logged into ccmadmin, go to device>device settings>phone services>add new

The service URL will look something like this (same as it was before):

http://XX.XXX.X.XX:8080/ccmcip/xmldirectoryinput.jsp

You can use the BAT tool to subsribe all devices to that service, at the device level or allow them to subscribe vie ccmuser.

If you just upgraded, you should get the Admin Guide and the Features and Services Guides. I would not have been able to get anything done without them!

Please let me know if this helps.

Hello,

I'm curious if this resolved the issue. We're preparing for an upgrade to CCM4.1x to CUCM 6.1 and have run into an issue with phone services, error 'HTTP Error [404]!' displayed on the phone. Still researching but this is the closest post I've seen.

Thanks,

Jason
