I have two WAAS devices in my head office site doing load balancing and a number of remote sites each with a single site. Within the WAAS central manager web site if I look at Acceleration > topology for my load balancing WAAS devices I see a peer that looks like a MAC address. I can't find that MAC address on any of my WAAS devices, but I am suspicious that it relates to the other load balancing WAAS. Is this normal?

Peter,
You can view the MAC address used as the WAE ID with the following command:
show tfo status
You can also view statistics on a per-peer basis with the command:
show statistics tfo peer

Zach,
Thanks for your reply. The show statistics tfo peer showed that the peer hadn't communicated for a while, and the last contact time coincided with the date that we replaced a broken WAE NM. So the mystery is solved.
