Hello,
I need to shut down several director switches. Is there any command that shuts down the MDS completely or the only way is just to stop the power supplies?
Regards,
Aleksandar

you can suspend the vsan(s). The interfaces will then go 'inactive' and not forward traffic.

Thank you for the answer, but I need to shutdown the MDS completely (there will be a total power outage/maintenance in this room).

I would assume that once the VSANs were suspended and traffic flow stopped you would simply unplug the switch. I am not sure there is a command that will shutdown the MDS and power it off. I would make sure you did a copy run start command prior to shutting down so that any recent changes to the config are saved.
