Hello Cisco Gurus!
i need to prepare a setup for an office in Australia. Problem is, i cannot figure out what kind of PSTN connection they are using. I am familiar with ISDN BRI/PRI etc.
The local IT guy told me the following:
"The phone lines are delivered via copper (20 phone lines) not via an Onramp service."
Can anybody tell me what he is using? 20 analog phone lines, what is an "Onramp service"?
Many thanks,
Ingo

Onramp is ozzie for isdn. Copper is analog lines. 20 of them equals nightmare.
I suggest you beg and cry to get isdn instead.
