Hi All,
I will be doing the upgrade and wanted to know if there's a way of saving all the call handlers, direct dialed and forwarding schemes, subscriber templates, schedules, etc...
I will be running DIRT, however from my understanding, it will not save this data. The upgrade will be done on the same server.
Also, the server is a MCS-7825-H1-ECS1 which has 1 GB of RAM. According to the Unity Hardware Matrix, it is able to run 5.0. (Cisco Unity versions supported 4.x and 5.0). I saw a few others post that 2 GB is necessary for Unity 5.0, so I was wondering if anyone knew for sure.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks again.

DiRT will save all of the data that you describe. Take a look at the "What Data is Saved" and "What Data is Not Saved" sections of the DiRT Help below.

All of the new MCS servers for Unity are shipping with 2Gb of RAM, but Unity is supported on some previously shipped MCS servers with 1Gb of RAM including the MCS-7825-H1-ECS1 per the supported platforms list below. I am currently running Unity 5.0 on an MCS server with 1Gb of RAM with no problems.
Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.

Thanks Brandon! Your post was very helpful. Quick question, when I do the upgrade to 5.0, will all the handlers, templates, schedules, etc...have to be rebuilt on the new system?

If you're doing an in-place upgrade (upgrading Unity on the same hardware), all call handlers, templates, etc will be available after the upgrade with no intervention required. If you're replacing hardware, these items will get restored with the DiRT restore.
Hope this helps.
