Got a brand new 2851 and it appears it has a problem when I try to do a write mem I get the following . any way around this or is time to RMA .

Hi Glen,
Had the same problem with a 3845 the other week.
Try the following
erase /all nvram:
This will erase the NVRAM, Re-Initialise the geometry and reset the pointer unlike the "erase nvram" command.

Dave you are the man , that fixed it . Thats what is great about this forum . Saved me the hassle of RMAing the device . Got to keep that one in the back of mind .
