I have 5 Cisco 870 in my branch offices.
Can I use a Cisco ASA 5505 as a VPN concentrator and the cisco 870 as a vpn client?

Yes. The ASA5505 supports the function of a VPN concentrator to terminate IPSec VPN sessions. And the 870 supports IPSec VPN connections.
