Cisco 3750G stack, error writing to flash

Hi,

I have a Cisco 3750G stack with 2 members, both WS-C3750G-24TS-E. IOS in use is 12.2(40)SE.

When trying to "copy run start" or "wr mem" I get the following errors:

3750STACK#copy run start

Destination filename [startup-config]?

Building configuration...

nv_done: unable to open "flash:/config.text.new"

nv_done: unable to open "flash:/private-config.text.new"

nv_done: unable to open "flash:/multiple-fs.new"[OK]

There is plenty of free space on the flash - I have checked on each member switch. Is this a bug in this IOS version?

Hi AM,

I have tried searching some bugs but only got the related one with this error for older IOS versions. This IOS is failry new. Did you try reloading the switches. I have seen in some of the previous cases that this gets correct after a switch reload.

If still it doesnot work, I would suggest you to talk to the TAC and get this resolved or see if the older bugs also exist in this new IOS or not.
