We've been trying to set something up where a manager can cBarge into shared lines which are members of a Line Group. It works perfectly for incoming/outgoing calls on any of those individual shared lines, but when calls come to that hunt group, it doesn't show that whoever answered it is even on the phone. Now that I've been going deeper through some documentation, it appears that shared lines have issues with hunt groups, and I'm getting the sinking feeling that we're not going to be able to pull this off.
Can anyone 100% verify this, or is there something I'm missing? Any suggested workarounds?
Thanks.

From Cisco CallManager 4.x and later, the default privacy setting has changed. The default is set to On, which means you cannot barge into an existing call on share line if it is in use by another device. If you hit the shared line button, it gives you a dial tone to dial another number. With the privacy setting on, the LED light is not turned on.
If you want the LED light to indicate the shared line is in use, you must change the privacy setting on the IP phone device of the shared lines to Off. This activate the light when the phone is in use, and any user with the shared line extension can barge into the call.

Thanks, but that isn't what I asked. I have it working just fine for calls coming into individual lines, it lights up and I can barge into them.
I'm asking if there's any way to get it to work when the call comes in through a hunt list, and it's answered by a shared line - in that case, it doesn't light up, and I cannot barge into it.
