Cisco CallManager Passwords

Hey everyone,


I am thinking of changing the CallManagerServer password for security purposes. I am mainly concerned with the NT Administrator account that is used to login the server.


However, I am concerned on its effects, I have Unity Server Integrated with the CallManager.


If I change this password, will it effect any other service or bring down anything?

Knowing of course that this administrator creditentials are also used to login to the callmanager Administration webpage.

You will want to do this change in a maintenance window as it will take down the system for a period of time.

Definitely follow through these document before you change anything. Basically there are two different logins, NT Account, and CCM services account. CCM services accounts are those tied with SQL databases.

I dont think changing call manager passwords will have any affect on unity.

But please make changes during maintenance window
