CCM 3.3(4)sr2 to CCM 3.3(5)sr2c

Hi,

I want to upgrade my CallManager to 3.3(5)sr2c for eventually updgrade to 4.2 but when I download and run the Upgrade Utility it's found an error with the Software version validation.

The error is

OS service release has incorrect version (expected "2000.2.6sr5", but found "none")

So I want to get this update but I didn't find anywhere on the cisco website or microsoft website.

Does somebody knows where can I download it.

Hi Jacques,

We have done this upgrade before and you do need to be at a minimum OS of 2000.2.7;

For Cisco CallManager 3.3 Upgrades to 3.3(5)

If your server runs Cisco CallManager 3.3 and operating system version 2000.2.3 (or later), you can use the operating system upgrade CD-ROM or the operating system upgrade web download to upgrade the operating system to 2000.2.7 or later.

Use the operating system upgrade CD-ROM or the operating system upgrade web download to upgrade the operating system to Cisco-provided version 2000.2.7(or later).

Tip Perform on the publisher database server first; complete the Cisco CallManager upgrade on the publisher database server before you upgrade the operating system on the subscriber servers.

Before you perform the upgrade, be sure to read the operating system readme information that is posted on the operating system cryptographic software site. You can navigate to the site from the Cisco CallManager software site at http://www.cisco.com/public/sw-center/sw-voice.shtml.

45 to 75 minutes per server, depending on the server type

Download and install the latest Cisco IP Telephony Server Operating System service release (2000-2-7sr1 or later). (Recommended)

The operating-system-service releases post on the voice products operating system cryptographic software site. You can navigate to the site from the Cisco CallManager software site.

Hi Jacques,

You are very welcome! Make sure to have a close look at the ReadMe for the SR upgrade, we got bit by a Bug that related to phone firmware on 7905's and 7912's. All in all things went well after these were sorted out.
