Hi All
I am using SecureRT to telnet to switches and to collect logs. It keeps coming up with More-- so then I need to press spacebar.
How can I get rid of this so that the result just scrolls through until it gets to the prompt?
I have Cisco 4500, 3560, 3550 running a mixture of Cisco IOS and CatOS.
Thanks

On the IOS once you telnet use the following command
terminal length 0
Not sure whether the same is applicable for CatOS though
Note: the command is session specific meaning if you log out of the session you need to type it again

Narayan is correct that terminal length 0 will scroll through all output without generating the -more- prompt. And he is correct that if you enter the command at the exec prompt that it is specific to that session. If you want it to be permanent enter the terminal length 0 under the vty lines in the configuration. If it is in the configuration it will make it permanent and it will apply to all sessions.

Hi
Just for completeness on CatOS
switch# set len 0
this will set it just for that session. If you want to set it permanently
switch# set len 0 default
