hi all
if I have 3 routers all routing using bgp.
and say they are linked A-B-C,
I want a default route on router B to be seen by router A but not C, what do I need to do ?

Hi Carl,
You need to filter out the default route from the updates of Router B that are sent to router C.
For this you can use a prefix-list or a route-map in the approriate "neighbor x.x.x.x prefix-list yyyy out" or "neighbor x.x.x.x route-map yyyy out" command.
Don't forget to use the "clear ip bgp x.x.x.x soft out" command to refresh the bgp table of the neighbor.
Do you need a more detailed description of the config?
Cheers:
