T1 Interface in UC520

As per the documentation, the UC520-48U-T/E/F-K9 comes with a T1/E1 VIC. Apparently it supports a PRI, my question would be, can I configure this T1 as a Data T1?

I'm getting a SIP trunk and I want to know if I can use the T1 interface as a data T1 to be able to connect to the SIP provider. If not I will need a separate router just to terminate the T1.

Thanks

Gabriel

The T1/E1 is only for voice. The design of the UC520 solution is for all data services to come in via the ethernet WAN connection, so you need a cable/dsl or similar broadband type connection into the routed IP network.
