Defult route learning in OSPF

Hi All,

Can any help me in understanding the issue with defult route injection?

R1 is connected to SP-1,PE router.

R2 is connected to SP-2,PE router.

Both service provider has configured OSPF sham Links.

Both R1 & R2 are connected to same switch.

"default-information originate always" configured in OSPF process on both R1&R2 routers.

The static default route is configured in R1 pointing towards Firewall IP address for reverse traffic.

I am unable to learn default route in R2 router from an immediate neighboe R1 router.

Idly, i should learn default route from R1 and advertise on OSPF sham link sothat all remote spoke location CE routers should learn from their respective PE routers.

Currently, i have delibrately given "default-information originate always" on R2 router to provide 0.0.0.0/0 to spoke routers.

Please share your comments and possible issue. I am ready to share the command outputs on this forum.

To have the Autonomous System Boundary Router (ASBR) generate a default route into the Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) domain, issue the default-information originate command.
