Help with Speech Connect integrating with Unity

Hello there,

I am doing a new install of Speech Connect for unity.

I want to import the users from the active directory that unity users. I have followed the guide for doing this and am hitting a snag.

On the Active directory import screen it is asking for a BASEDN for the active directory. From the guide it looks like it wants OU= and DC=

All the users are in the Users folder for Active Directory. The server same is UNITY, the domain it is on is voip.rmic.com

I tried many variations of the following for the BASEDN field it wants

OU=Users,DN=UNITY,DN=com

or

OU-users,DN=UNITY,DN=VOIP,DN=RMIC,DC=com

whenever i try any variation of the above, its says (fields above) is not a valid BASEDN

Anyone ever install this before and can help?

Hello.

Try the following:

CN=Users,DC=voip,DC=rmic,DC=com

You can leave the OU empty.

You can also try leaving this entire field blank and Speech Connect will search the entire global catalog, which may or may not work depending on your AD structure.
