Dear all,

we have configured another logging host

....

....

logging on

logging trap debugging

logging console debugging

logging facility debugging

logging host INSIDE 1.2.3.4

logging host DMZ 5.6.7.8 tcp/1468

.....

but "show logging" is saying:

logging to DMZ 5.6.7.8 tcp/1468 is disabled

Do we have to define a new access list now?

THX, Rainer

What syslog server..is it PFSS..?

It's the Firewall Analyzer from ManageEngine

Rainer

Is it Pix or ASA ? which version ?

Disable the command logging to DMZ 5.6.7.8 tcp/1468

and add it on UDP, does it still show disabled ?

no logging host DMZ 5.6.7.8 tcp/1468

logg host inside DMZ 5.6.7.8

@abinjola:

1. PIX 6.3

2. logg host inside DMZ 5.6.7.8

you mean: logg host DMZ 5.6.7 isn't?

3. I thought that the PIX is only using TCP

packets for logging

THX, Rainer

yes I meant logg host DMZ..<.>

is it working now ..issue resolved ?
