Versions of ASA 5505

I need to purchase an ASA 5505 but realized there are many different versions, i.e. Appliance 10, 50, UI, etc. What is the difference between all these models/features?

those are the license versions you can buy bundled with the ASA.

This is the datasheet for the ASA55xx, and it is more up to date with the recent licensing changes in 7.2(3) - in this case with the Security Plus license for the ASA5505.

If you need a DMZ - get the SECPLUS license right away. Then count the inside hosts that need to have connections through the firewall. This will give you the number of users, i.e. 10, 50 or unlimited.
