Internet lease line load balancing

i have one internet router connected with 2 lease lines with the same provider where i want to do load balancing, somebody help me what could be the simle configurations, or in this case Multilinking is a good solution

Hi,

You can use OSPF or BGP. We can throw a lot of suggestions to you but it depends what is permitted by your ISP, talk to them about your objective.

The suggestion by Dandy is a good one. Your ISP can tell you what they are willing to do and may very well have a suggestion of what they think is best.

My suggestion would be that if the ISP will support multilink over these 2 circuits that there would be some advantage in using multilink. And if multilink is not used I would suggest that the most simple solution for you would be to configure 2 default static routes with a default static route pointing out each of the leased line interfaces. This would provide redundancy and load sharing on both links and it minimizes the overhead processing on your router.
