Solved: Phine load not coming down to phones.

I am trying to install the newest firmware (P00308000800) to my 7940, under the default devices it says that it is there, I reboot my phone and the old firmware is still registering on the device.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

Ensure that all the files for the firmware are included in the tftp statement. e.g.

tftp-server flash:/C7940-60/P00308000500.loads alias P00308000500.loads

tftp-server flash:/C7940-60/P00308000500.sb2 alias P00308000500.sb2

tftp-server flash:/C7940-60/P00308000500.sbn alias P00308000500.sbn

tftp-server flash:/C7940-60/P00308000500.bin alias P00308000500.bin

Note the alias statement is only required if the files are located in a directory other than the root directory.

Then update Telephone-service configuration includes the updated load statement and remember to create the config files.

E.g.

telephony-service

load 7960-7940 P00308000500

create cnf-files
