Solved: ONS 15454 sdh 4g FICON

Hi.

We have a lot of new hardware from big blue, which we have to connect via 4gbit FICON to our ONS 15454sdh. Therefor we have some new 15454-10dme-c cards. After the installation of the cards, i wanted to configure the cards with 4g FICON, but neither in ctc8.5 nor in ctm8.5 i have an option for 4g FICON. Only 2g FICON or 4g FC.

What can i do? Am I to choose 4g FC?

Ok, I have found a solution.

You have to change the card provisioning to FC4G before you can select 4gFicon or 4gFC

we've got another card operational since 1 year with 2g fc. its working fine
