To expand on Willems post

Two Versions are available Call Manager Enterprise Product for 60,000 users that deals in IP telephony, unified communications, IP video and audio conferencing, and customer contact.

SMB product is Call Manager Express for around 240 users or less depending on the Platform (Cisco 1861 Supports 8 and Cisco 3845 supports 240) provides call processing to meet the voice and video communications requirements of SMB business.

Both are IP Telephony solutions and hardware and software additions to enable and support collaborative gains like email, customer contact and crm integration. Added features like auto attendant, voicemail allow most PABX or Key System features found on analog systems, and CallConnectors for SalesForce, CRM, Windows to work with/alongside IP Phones/Soft Phone.
