We are migrating some users to a new subnetwork 192.188.21.x...from the 192.168.1.0 network-There is a server that they have been accessing also on the 192.168.1.x network.
The MDF switch has a physical connection
to the .21.x gateway and the .1.x gateway.
As can be expected now that the users
are on the .21.x subnet-they have to
be routed via static route back to the
But now they are complaining about unusually slow response time..
should this be the case now that they are taking only 1 extra "hop"-to the router so they can be routed?
tracerts to the server were 1 ms
while on the .1.0 network
