CBT Nugget vs Train Signal

Unanswered Question
Feb 26th, 2008

I've been studing to complete my ccna cert. I have already passed the icnd1 test with 966. Right now I have the two cisco press books from wendell plus I'm going through the cisco academy through my school. I was also looking at possibly getting the cbt nugget or trainsignal material. Anyone have any thoughts on which one is better. Price wise, trainsignal is half the price.

thank you very much

I have this problem too.

Your best option for passing any Cisco exam in my opinion is a cisco press book and plenty of lab time on some real equipment.

That said I have used cbt nuggets for all sorts of things and found their training to be excellent.

Never tried train signal so can't comment.

thanks for the info. I definately agree with the lab time. We've got some routers and switches at school to play with. Working on those definately made a difference in passing my first test. As soon as I get some extra cash I'd like to build a small lab myself. Working on the simulators at home just isn't the same.
