I have a user that is using the Cisco vpn client v5.02 on Windows XP pro. The user connects remotely and uses an application that displays images and other large file size types. The user never loses connection to the vpn and only experiences slowness most of the time while using the application that displays images and large files. Do you think customizing the MTU size of the Cisco vpn client adapter will help? Say change it to 1200 or something? I am wondering if this is a fragmentation issue.
Thanks

Slow connection to vpn peer is generally a MTU size issue. Following links may help you
