We are trying to change the dial plan from 4digit extension to 8 digit extension. I want to use BAT for applying this change. I didn't find any option which will change DN number. We have about 1000+ IP Phones and i have all the MAC address recorded.

Can you help me?

Thanks,

Hi Yogesh,

Have you thought of using the BAT Export? (all device details)

This may take some testing to find the exact method to use. I would try this on only one or two test phones for starters. Try an Export of these test phones into a .csv file then **delete the phones/users.

Take the .csv file you got from the Export and change the DN's as required. Then use this new import file and then do a Phones/Users Import.

Working with the Export Utility

From this doc;

Hope this helps!

Hello Rob,

I was able to figure out how to change the DN number using BAT.

You have to use ADD LINES --> Use the sample file to create a text file. Edit the changes you want to make to DN.

Select the file --> Phone Template and upload.

All fields are required in the sample file to make this work. If you keep fields blank by comma, it change that file blank in the CCM.

I was succesfully able to change the DN for my 10-15 test phones. I am now just waiting for the downtime to make this work.

I will update on this email once i get it completed.

Thanks for your help.
