Hi All,
I have a 1720 rtr with IOS: 12.1(6)
It has EBGP peering with ISP rtr. No IBGP on the rtr.
***********************
BGP config:
router bgp 1111
bgp log-neighbor-changes
network 20.30.62.0 mask 255.255.255.0
network 15.5.104.0 mask 255.255.255.224
neighbor 23.23.3.17 remote-as 2222
neighbor 23.23.3.17 next-hop-self
neighbor 23.23.3.17 soft-econfiguration inbound
neighbor 23.23.3.17 route-map test out
****************************
How do I know, if BGP synchronization is enabled/desabled on this rtr. Is there any command whose o/p shows that..?
Thank you in advance
MS

If I'm not mistaken, if you don't see "no syncronization" in the BGP config, syncronization is ON.

Hi MS,
BGP synchronization is off by default in Cisco IOS release 12.2(8)T and later.
If you don't see the "no synchronization" in the "show running-config" output, this means synchronization is set to the default value, which is "on" in your version of IOS, that is : enabled.
Cheers:
