I am having issues in registaering a 7936 IP Phone on a CCM5.0. Is 7936 supported on CCM5.0?

Hi Peter,
The 7936 is supported on CCM 5.0. What happens when it trys to boot up?
If you are trying this on a normal "voice" switchport it may not work. They don't seem to like the
access vlan
voice vlan
Just set;
switchport mode access
switchport access vlan xxx (where xxx is the voice vlan)

Well, we are getting there :) I don't have much experience troubleshooting this type of issue. I have read about the "bind command" as shown in this doc;

The document seem to be complex as it does not give one particular solution to the "oe-way communication issue". I dont seem to get the right solution. ALl the same, I'll still try more.
