Hi all,
We are on Call Manager 4.1.3 and Unity 4.0.5.
When an incoming vm goes to the Ourlook client it says, " message from Username"
but sometimes it says "messages from 4082251234"
Any reason for this?
Thanks,
Randall

if the guy that left the message is also a unity subscriber then you will get the username.
if the guy that leaves the msg is not a subscriber or the caller was from PSTN you only get the calling number

These are internal calls. So, each user is a Unity sub.

If the number is what is displayed, is the number their DN? How did the call get to Unity?

was going to ask the same thing. is the number that they get in the voicemail their subscriber DN?

here is an example:
Bill B, ext 6743, leaves a vm for Chris B, ext 2555. Chris reads his email and it reads toy have a vm from 14085556743, not from Bill B.

exactly how did Bill place the call? from his IP phone? What are you using as the CUCM DN? possibly an E.164 number? Is it the 4-digits?

OK,
I found out what was happening. He exceeded his exchange limitaion so he could not receive any more emails/vm's.
The "crazy" thing I learned was the deleted items in Outlook is the same as the VM(UC).
Thanks for the help!
