HSRP log messages

I have 2 HSRP group with interface tracking. Recently I see frequent log messages like below. How can I track exactly as what is causing them?


%HSRP-6-STATECHANTE: Fa0/0 Grp 4 state Active-> Speak


%HSRP-6-STATECHANTE: Fa0/0 Grp 3 state Standby-> Active

These are the messages you typically receive while HSRP is converging and calculating who the active and standby nodes are.

If you're getting these messages, it could be an indication that one of your routers is bouncing, or at least the vlan interfaces are.

I would clear the log and monitor the messages that roll in as well as their sequence.

It looks like CPU usage is very high on my routers. Can I track the process which is causing the high CPU utilization?

I am facing this problem on Internet router which have ACL's defined on it. Many times CPU process times goes to 100% and the HSRP flip happens. Is the below model/memory good enough on the internet routers with ACL's?

I am unable to track the exact process which causing this high CPU usage. verified my firewalls logs as well. No suspicious traffic.
