Hi,

The main difference is that 4570R-E supports E-Series line cards for higher bandwidth.

Look at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/modules/ps2710/ps5494/product_data_sheet0900aecd802109ea_ps4324_Products_Data_Sheet.html

It's very interesting.

I hope this helps.

Best regards.

Massimiliano.

when buying the 4507R-E and the equivilant E-Series line modules what power supplies would be required to fully populate the chassis?

currently we have 2 x PWR-C45-1400AC

should we look to upgrade?

thanks

That power supply should fulfill your needs for data only. If you are planning to purchase PoE E-Series modules, you need to upgrade.

HTH,

Edison.

Thanks a lot.

Am i right in assuming both come supplied with IOS now?

Hi,

It depends on what module you use.

Here is an interesting tool (Cisco Power Calculator) in order to calculate the power requirement:

I hope this helps.

Best regards.

Massimiliano.
