Hello all,
I have a question on how CallManager works with multiple H323 gateways in a route group. For instance I have two H323 gateways in RG1 and an MGCP gateway in RG2 and in RL1 I have RG1 then RG2. And here are my questions.
- If one of the H323 gateways in RG1 lost connectivity to PSTN. Will CCM automatically route calls to the other H323 gateway in RG1? if so how does CCM know that one of the H323 gateways has lost connectivity to PSTN or will CCM route calls to the MGCP gateway in RG2 ?
Thanks very much in advance !!!

Hi, thank you and I appreciate your response !!!
So in order for CCM to hunt for other H323 gateway I would need to add this command "no dial-peer outbound status-check pots" to all H323 gateways ?
thanks again !!!

Hi,
My other question is what happen if one of the gateways is dead completely offline. How will CCM know to hunt for other available gateways in RG/RL ?
Thanks !!!
Danny
