Unity Zero out to alternate operator

I'm looking for the best way to change the zero out option for users at a new site who want to use their own operator.

I don't know if it should be a call handler or default subscriber template or caller input - once I know the correct way, I need also some steps on how to get started. First time I used call handler I screwed up everyones calls. Caller Input "0" that I tried dosen't do anything. Thanks in advance for your help!

Toni,

Try the following.

1. Create a call handler based on the existing Operator call handler. On the Call Transfer settings page, set the Transfer to "Yes, ring this extension" and input the operator extension.

2. Create a Subscriber Template. On the Caller Input settings page, set the 0 key to "Attempt transfer for ". You can use this Subscriber Template when creating new subscribers for this location.

3. For existing subscribers, use the Bulk Edit tool in the Unity Tools Depot to change the Caller Input as described above.
