CME: External TFTP Server

Friends,

I have 2811 router which i want to use as cisco cme and what to register ip phones with it. The issue is i have not good storage in that router so that i can place all ip phone's firmwares and configurations. Thats why i want to configure an external tftp server so please guide me.

Specially when i will make any change in phones configuration how it will update the configuration file on external tftp server.

Hi,

The default flash is enough to hold firmware, gui and something more.

The tftp server must be the router itself because cme dynamically generates the phone configurations, so it's not reccomended thta you use an external tftp server.
