ICM to ICM Gateway (7.1 to 6.0)

I am trying to get an ICM to ICM Gateway up between ICM 6.0 and ICM 7.1 but not having any luck. Wondering if anyone has this running and could offer some advice? Thanks!

All ICM processes use TCP 4000049999 and UDP 3950039999 for communication and both TCP and UTP are used by ICM in communication.

what error messages are you getting? Are both 6.0 and 7.1 at the latest SR?
