Hi,

Yes,

1. There is another option to take backup with the help of PENDRIVE. If the router has the USB port.

#copy usb flash:FLASH_NAME.bin

2. Via FTP u can also do the same.

#copy ftp:URL_NAME

3.Via http and https u can do the same.

#copy http flash:

Address or Name of remote host []:

Hope it will help you.

Thanks

Hi Goutam,

Can you explain the second step through Ftp

and 3rd step through http.

Thaknks for your replay,

Sham.

Hi,

Sure!!!

As per my 2nd post:

#copy ftp flash:

Address or host name of remote host []? YOUR_FTP_SERVER's_IP_ADDRESS

Source File Name []?Flash_Name.bin

Destination filename []?AS_TYPED_SOURCE_FILE_NAME

#copy http: flash:

Destination filename [http]?

(folloe the same as above)

Not only that you can also copy the runing/startup config.

Thanks
