This may be an order of operation type issue but Im not sure.
We have a user who has their phone forwarded to an internal extension. When the receptionist tries to use the attendent console to transfer a call directly to that persons voice mail the option is greyed out and they cannont place any calls into that users voice mail
Im pretty sure this simply comes from the fact that the users phone is forwarded. Id like to know if there is a way around this short of adding a second extension to the phone to handle voice mails when the phone is forwarded.

Create a CTI route point to send callers directly to a user's voicemail using * plus the extension. I'm assuming you're using CCM and Unity. Take a look at the following link.
