Hi,

We have just purchased a bunch of public IP's from ISP, kindly let me know, if the bunch is /28 will I be able to use the first and last entries of the list? OR I can use all of them, all 16 with /32 subnet mask?

Hi There

The answer to your question is no, with a /28 subnet you have 14 usable IP addresses. The first IP address in the range is the subnet number and the last IP address in the range is the broadcast address for the subnet.

Best Regards,

Michael
