Hi There;

Can anyone tell me - if I have two serial interfaces on a 2811, do I need to specify that one will be used for RS422 and the other for RS232. If so, what command do I use to do this?

thanks

There is generally not any command to identify the type of interface connector. The type of card will determine what kind of connector is supported and when the interface card supports multiple connector type there is logic within the interface to check which pins are activated in the connector and determine the type of connector automatically.
