Hi

I have a customer that are today asking for at feature in the gatweway as follows:

He will like to have a router with 2 ISDN interfaces, that is fine, but he ask for if the power to the router is gone, he will like to have a switchover so the 2 isdn interfaces kan be bridged.

I little like power switch over in a FXO interface.

Do anyone know if this i possible ?

/Soren

Bridged how? If like the fxo/fsx "bridging" that in in certain voice cards, that is not possible, because ISDN BRI is fundamentally different from analog telephony.

Some ISDN BRI installations are multipoint, that is, they allow multiple TEs on the same S/T bus, hence giving a redundancy option.
