We are using a UC520 in PBX mode. We are looking for a better way to monitor calls that are placed in park. Ideally we would like to bring up a list of calls on park from the screens of one of our 7970 phones. Is this possible? If not, what other options do we have?

Diego

Sorry, that is not possible. You can configure the various options in the park-slot commands to make so parked calls do return to certain extensions or alternate extension after a timeout.

Hi Diego,
You can't do this from the screen of the 7970 , but you can Monitor the Call Park slots using Line Buttons. If you are using alot of Call Park slots you may need to add a 7914 Sidecar to Monitor all of them;
In Cisco CME 3.2.1 and later releases, call-park slots can also be monitored. If a call-park slot is assigned to a monitor button using the button m command, the line status shows "in use" when a call is parked in the monitored slot. A call that is parked on the monitored call-park slot can be picked up by pressing the assigned monitor button.

Hope this helps!

What about PC/software based options?
Thanks,

Sorry, CME has no documented API to interact with parked calls.

I guess they have to leave some stuff out or otherwise nobody would buy Call Manager. ;)
Thanks,
