He does have dCEF cards installed.

2 Distributed Forwarding Card WS-F6700-DFC3B SAD0951031D 4.2 Ok

3 Distributed Forwarding Card WS-F6700-DFC3B SAL1006CXXM 4.2 Ok

4 Distributed Forwarding Card WS-F6700-DFC3B SAD0951030D 4.2 Ok

Mr. Noobie:

Enter the ip cef distributed command in global config mode.

I believe dCEF is dependent on whether there's a DFC installed on the line card.

Thanks for response, before I enable "ip cef distributed", will I lose connectivity and will my 6724 that does not have DFC card still work properly?

The short answers are no and yes, respectively.

If you're worried, set up a window and do it then.

No biggie.
