LMS 2.6 (RME) & SUP1A

When we try to pull a Chassis Slot Detail report out of RME in Ciscoworks for any 6000 series with a SUP1A, it always shows "0".

Other SUP models report the correct information. Compatability issue?

Thank you.

What version of code is this switch running?

It is various versions of the CatOS 7.6(x) across multiple switches with Sup1A engines.

We have one switch with a Sup2 within the same CatOS 7.6 and it reports fine.

Thank you,

This is most likely due to the entPhysicalVendorType for the chassis slots being zeroDotZero instead of cevContainerSlot. In this case, the slot is ignored by RME inventory, and the total slot count is not properly reflected.

Typically, I would expect this problem to be tied to the software, so I wouldn't expect a Sup2 to work, but you might want to compare the entPhysicalVendorType values from the two switches.
