7911G - Remove Messages button

Hello

Can anyone give me advice how to remove "Messages" soft key button from Cisco 7911G ip phone menu?

In our company we have only four active buttons(New Call, Redial, PickUp and CFwdAll) and want to see all of them in line, without "more" button, and we have a much stupid users, who cant understand that they need to press "more" to access additional functions.

I searching two days, but cant find solution ^(

Hi Alexander,

Here is the problem, the reference is for the 7905 and 7912 but also carries over to the newer 7911 :(

Restrictions

â€¢The third soft-key button on the Cisco Unified IP Phone 7905G and Cisco Unified IP Phone 7912G is reserved for the Message soft key. For these phones' templates, the third soft-key defaults to the Message soft key. For example, the softkeys idle Redial Dnd Pickup Login Gpickup command configuration displays, in order, the Redial, DND, Message, PickUp, Login, and GPickUp soft keys.
