DST in wrong order

I made a dumb mistake and upgrade in the wrong order so need to know if this is harmful. Below is my order. BTW, I am on CM4.2.3sr1.

1st from 2000.4.4.sr1 to 2000.4.5bsr8

2nd install 4.2.3-DST patch

Later I read the Field Notice stating that I did not need to upgrade the DST if I was already on 4.5bsr8.

I'll find out tommorow on Sunday if DST works. My concern is for future upgrades and the next upcoming DST time change. I read the release notes for the 2000.4.5 stuff and there is a number of DST fixes so not sure if what I did broke anything. I only have 1 cluster (Pub/sub) as a centralized topology with a local timezone of Pacific but phones in Central, Mountain, Eastern and London. Anybody else made the same mistake and what was your observations. Thx

Hi Anthony,

As far as I know for 4.2(3)sr1 and below you actually need the steps you have completed. Have a look at the attached doc (it has the best details that I have seen);

Cisco Unified CallManager 4.2(3) ES 10 or 4.2(3)SR1 and below

Apply the appropriate Windows 2000 Patch

The patches can be found here:.http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/cmva-3des

Apply 4.2(3) stand-alone patch available on CCO at http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/callmgr-42

Here is the list;

To obtain the complete Daylight Savings Time (DST) Update for the Operating System, Unified CallManager Cluster, and the 7906, 7911, 7921, 7941, 7961, 7970, 7971 IP phone models, you must perform the following steps in order:

1 Apply the appropriate Windows 2000 Patch listed above in table 1.

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/cmva-3des

2. Apply either the 8.2.1 stand-alone phone load or the device pack for this release:

• 8.2.1 Stand-alone phone load found here:

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/ip-7900ser

• Device Pack for Unified CallManager 4.2(3), found here:

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/callmgr-42

3. Apply the Unified CallManager Update, found here:

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/callmgr-42

4. Apply the JRE standalone patch. It can be found at

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/callmgr-utilpage

Hope this helps!
