7970 SIP Provider

Hi can anybody tell me can the

7970G phone connect to a SIP provider

as we are pulling our hair out here trying to work out what is the problem

as it will not register

can anybody provide a working XML config that would be nice

all other non cisco phones work ok

so its not the network

Cable modem

Fixed IP address

SIP Firmware SIP70-8-31s

You may be running is some strangeness of that particular firmware, especially if nat is used.

Check on voip-info.org, they track the various sip releases and bugs for general SIP use.
