I had been having issues with making "url idle" changes to my configuration, resetting phones, and them not obtaining this configuration. I must have made the config change a couple dozen times. At some point, they 3 phones I have in my lab received the config change but when I removed it from my Unity installation, they KEPT loading the "url idle" long after it was no longer in my running or start-up configuration.
I rebooted the CME router. While the router was down I physically powered cycled the phones. Once everything was back up, the phones STILL had the "url idle" values configured! While in the SETTINGS of a particular phone, I typed *,*,#,*,* to unlock and choose "Erase" on the HTTP Configuration option. This removed all the entries, but now I can't get them to populate again with the fields I actually desire: Directory, Services, Authentication, etc.
I'm at a loss why my GUI and CLI changes to my "url" paramters are "sticking" on the phones, and not being downloaded to the phones upon a reset.
Thoughts?

May be an IOS and phone FW issue. State which IOS you have, which phones and which FW currently.

8.2(2)SR4S is available for the phones. Beside that, more conservative would be running 12.4(11)XJ4 that still has more bug fixes that 12.4(15)T3.
